Fine Arts Fair Auction: Home and School raised $689 from the silent auction at our Fine Arts Fair. Thank you to all those that donated baskets or bought them!
Earth Day: We are celebrating Earth Day tomorrow. We will have a guest speaker from the Youth Environmental Program that will do a presentation for our students after chapel. Also, many of our students will have an opportunity to get their hands dirty by doing some planting and other earthy things.
Easter Monday: School will be closed on Monday, April 22, following Easter Sunday. Enjoy the three day weekend!
School Spirit Week: It is once again time for the students and the staff to show some school spirit! School Spirit Week will take place April 23-26.

Dress Down Days for Togo: On Tuesday, April 30, we will have a Dress Down Day for Togo for $1. The final Dress Down Day for Togo will be Wednesday, May 8.
Family Reading Night: Family Reading Night for grades K-4 and families will take place on Thursday, April 25, at 6 pm. Come join us as we “camp out with reading”. There will be a Readers’ Theater Performance, a campfire read aloud story, a tent “read in”, surprise refreshments, and more!
Box Tops: It is time to turn in Box Tops to your child’s teacher. They will be collected on May 1. The classroom with the most turned in will have a special treat.
Snow Day Makeup: School will dismiss at 3 pm on April19, and 26. After School Care will begin at 3:15 pm and close at 4:30 pm.
Hold Your Seat: It is now time to preregister your child by going into our website and registering for the 2019-2020 school year. Click on the parent link and create a new username and password. The Hold Your Seat Fee is now $225. The first tuition payment will be credited for $150 of the Hold Your Seat Fee.
Jaime Jorge Concert: Jaime Jorge is an accomplished violinist who travels around the world doing concerts and sharing his story of God's love. Jaime has agreed to do a benefit concert for our school at the Martinsburg SDA Church. Our students have an amazing opportunity to sing two songs during the concert that will take place on Saturday, May 4, at 11 am. Our students are preparing two songs to sing with the help of our music teacher, Heidi Marte. This is our ALL SCHOOL FINAL Music Performance for this school year. Please mark your calendars and invite your family, friends, and neighbors to this concert. You will be blessed!
End of Year Field Day: We will have our Field Day on Friday, May 17, at the War Memorial Park in Martinsburg. Students will need to be dropped off at the park between 7:45 and 8:00 am and pick up will be at noon. Parents are welcome to stay. There will be no lunches on this day. Home & School will provide some healthy late morning snacks and water for our students.
Staff Development: School will dismiss at noon on Thursday, May 23, for Staff Development. Lunches will not be needed on this day unless your child is staying for After School Care which will run from 12:15-5:45 pm.
