Citrus Fruit: It is once again time to think citrus. Our biggest school fund-raiser is our citrus fruit fund-raiser from November through March. Our first sale is Sunday, November 13, from 10-3. Orders should be placed by Sunday, October 30th. Since the Florida orchards are having issues with their fruit, we are getting the navels and ruby red grapefruit from Texas for the first two months. To place an order, go online to our website at go2rks.com and choose the citrus sales link, or you can call the fruit line at 304-264-5975 or email Kim at firstname.lastname@example.org. Your child will be bringing home a Citrus Schedule and Price List today. If you would like additional schedules to hand out to co-workers, family, and friends, please let Kim know.
Volunteer Hours: We are still in need of some weeding to take place in front of the school facing the road. In the next few weeks we will also need some volunteers to remove the leaves from our gutters before it gets too cold. Be sure to fill out the volunteer log book in the school office each time you volunteer. Once you have reached your 20 hours you can stop logging your time.
Yankee Candle Sales: The Home & School Committee is doing a fundraiser through Yankee Candle. The catalog sale will begin October 24 and run through November 7.
