Mrs. B's Retirement:On October 14 Mrs. Benton will be retiring! She has been with us for more than 19 years and has contributed to the quality of our school program in numerous ways! This decision has come at this time as a generous reaction to the knowledge that RKS does not currently have the enrollment to cover its expenses. Our school board determined that the best way to correct our finances would be to have one less teacher. Mrs. B. volunteered to be that teacher before any of the other teachers knew of the situation. She is our hero! Our first graders will join Mrs. Boggess’s class and our second graders will merge with Mrs. Bankes’s class. Please keep these ladies and these classes in your prayers as we begin this transition.

Some maintenance jobs in the building.
Flower beds in the front of our school building need to be weeded and mulched.
Thank you to Kim Wareham for cutting back our ornamental grasses!
