Thanksgiving Dinner/NOON DISMISSAL: Tomorrow, November 18, parents will drop students off along with assigned food item for the meal at the Martinsburg SDA Church (2407 Delmar Orchard Rd., Martinsburg) between 7:45 and 8:00 am where students will practice their Christmas Program. Following the practice, the parents are invited to eat a potluck Thanksgiving Lunch at 11:30 am in the church fellowship hall with their child/ren. Students will be dismissed after the lunch. There will be no Before or After School Care on this day.
New England Youth Ensemble:The New England Youth Ensemble will be performing at the 11:00 am church service at the Martinsburg SDA Church this Saturday, November 19. Any RKS student that gives Heidi Marte, our music teacher, a church bulletin at church or school will receive extra credit toward their music grade.
Thanksgiving Vacation: School will be closed next week for Thanksgiving Vacation. We pray that all of our staff and school families have a memorable holiday.
Shooting Stars Basketball: The Shooting Stars (Grades 1-4) basketball practice will be on Monday, November 28, from 4:00-5:00 pm.
Clubs -Week of November 28: Student Council will meet on Monday, November 28, from 3:15-4:15 pm and Circuits Club from 3:15-4:00 pm and on Wednesday, November 30, Crochet Club will meet from 3:15-4:15 pm.
Comets Basketball Practice: On Tuesday, November 29 and Thursday, December 1, Grades 5-8 will have basketball practice from 3:00-4:30 pm. Also, on Tuesday, November 29, there will be a home scrimmage game with Saint Joe's School at 5 pm.
Dress Down Days: The Student Council is having Dress Down Days on the 1st and 3rdTuesday of every month. The cost to participate is $1. The next Dress Down Day for $1 is Tuesday, December 6.
Kindergarten Graduation: Please note another change of Kindergarten Graduation to Tuesday, May 23, at 6 pm. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
