Earth Day:RKS students will be celebrating Earth Day tomorrow, April 20. Outside activities have been planned so please have your child dress in warm clothes and comfortable shoes. We would love to have some volunteers to help with this fun filled day.

Registration for Next School Year: It is now time to register for next school year. Go to our school website (go2rks.com) and click on the parent link to update your child's grade, t-shirt size, and any changes that need to be made. Preschool registration fees are $75. Registration fees for K-8 are $350 if paid by May 15, $375 from May 16-July 14, and $400 July 15 or later.
Recruitment Discount: It is that time of year again to start recruiting family, friends, and neighbors to send their child to our school for the next school year. If you recruit a student, you will receive 10% off your child's tuition for next school year. If you recruit more than one student, additional discounts will be applied to your balance.
Volunteers Needed:We are in desperate need to have our gym gutters cleaned out and a few other areas. If you can help with this project, please let Kim Harris know.
HVA Spelling Bee:The 6th Annual Highland View Academy Spelling Bee for students in grades 4-12 will take place on Saturday night, April 21, at 8:15 pm at the HVA administration building. Admission: $3 for spectators, $2 for contestants, free for children ages 8 and under. Concessions will be sold. Proceeds benefit the class of 2020.
Family Reading Night:Our Family Reading Night will take place on Tuesday, April 24, starting at 6:00 pm. Come out and listen to some of our students in grades K-4 read.
Mt. Aetna Summer Camp: A free week of summer camp drawing form was sent home with your child today (Grades 1-8). Please return the form by Monday morning if you want your child to be in the drawing for a chance to win a free week of summer camp.
