School Picnic: Our school picnic has been moved to May 19, due to bad weather. Students can be dropped off at the War Memorial Park (State Farm Pavilion near tennis courts) starting at 7:45 am. Students can be picked up at the park at noon. Lunch will provided for students, staff, and parents staying to help. If you are planning to help with the picnic, please let your child’s teacher know so that we can have a head count for lunch. There will be no Before or After School Care on this day.
Yard Signs: The Home & School Committee has several yard signs that they made to advertise our school. If you live in a subdivision or a high traffic area and would be willing to put a RKS sign in your yard, please let Kim Harris know.
Volunteer Work: With only 11 days of school left, we want to encourage you to do your 20 hours of volunteer time and record it in the office. We are in major need of flower beds to be weeded around the school and gymnasium and shrubs to be trimmed.
Summer Daycare for Ages 3-8: We are making plans for our Summer Daycare and would like to know how many students will be attending. Please turn in your application as soon as possible. If you are in need of an application you can download it from the home page on our website or pick one up in the office.
Registration for Next Year: It is now time to go to our website and register your child for next school year. When you choose the parent link and put in your email address and password you will see that your child needs some things updated on the application form such as the grade for your child for next school year and the t-shirt size. Also, health insurance needs to be updated each school year. Once the updates are made you will need to save the information and then pay the registration fee through the Pay Pal cart that is shown. Remember, the registration fee goes up after May 15.
Clubs Next Week: On Monday, May 15, Gymnastics (5-8) will meet from 3:15-4:15 pm and Wednesday, May 17, Gymnastics (K-4) will meet from 3:15-4:15 pm.
Dress Down Days: Dress Down Days are the 1st and 3rd Tuesday for $1. Our next Dress Down Day is Tuesday, May 16.

If you are interested in having your child participate in the Maker FunFactory, then go to the church website at williamsportsda.com. Last Day of School: Our last day of school will consist of some preliminary things in the classrooms, yearbook signing, and closing program in the gym. We will dismiss at 10 am. Parents are welcome to stay or may come back at 10. There is no After School Care on this day.
