Valentine Cupcakes: Student Council will be selling Valentine cupcakes next week, February 8-12, at lunch time each day. The cupcakes will already be bagged if you want to buy one as a gift, but students may want to buy a cupcake just to eat for a lunch treat. The cupcakes will cost $1.
Thank You: The Third and Fourth Grade Class would like to thank you for the postcards. They have a collection from all the states now!

Era Day: Next Tuesday, February 9, we are having an Era Day where you can dress up like hippies, or the 70s, or like any era that has to deal with the olden days. You can even dress like an old man or woman. Be thinking about what you are going to wear.
Citrus Fruit: Our final citrus fruit sale for this school year will take place on Sunday, February 28, from 10 am to 3 pm. The fruit for sale: CA Navels, Ruby-Red Grapefruit, Florida Spring Orange, Tangerines, and Mandarins. Call 304-264-5975 to place your order.
History Fair: Grades 5-8 will be participating in our History Fair on February 11 from 6:30-7:30 PM. Set up time begins at 6:00 pm. Some class time is being given for project prep. Each student will be transformed into the historical figure of their choice within the guidelines their teachers have given them. Mark your calendars for this fun and educational evening.
Basketball Games and Practices: Parents are responsible for the supervision of all their children at games. Please be aware at all times of the whereabouts and activities of your children. No siblings are permitted at practices without the presence of the parents. Coaches can only supervise the players. This is a liability issue. Thank you for being attentive to these matters.
School Plan for Inclement Weather: When Berkeley County Schools close or delay school for inclement weather, we will do the same. We announce our delays on the local radio stations and on television on WHAG. If you would like to receive texts from Berkeley County Schools regarding delays and closures then go to wvde.state.wv.us/closings/. Please remember that our school calendar does not match the Berkeley County Schools calendar. We only follow them for inclement weather.
Dress Down Days: Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday is Dress Down Day for $1.00. Our next Dress Down Day is Wednesday, February 17. Also, every Friday is a regular (free) Dress Down Day.
